DeSales High School: Three-year starter at inside and outside linebacker, defensive end and tight end…coached by former KWC standout Harold Davis…caught 20 passes for 455 yards and seven touchdowns…collected 82 total tackle and four sacks…blocked two punts…help lead the Colts to a 9-5 record and the 2012 Class 2A semi-state…two-time recipient of team’s Most Valuable Player Award…chosen three times to All-Jefferson County squad and all-district team…named all-region as a junior and senior…participant in the East-West All-Star game. Career – Grabbed 70 passes for 1,000 yards and 18 touchdowns…produced 213 total tackles and nine sacks…intercepted two passes. Other sports – Played basketball for two seasons at guard…received Most Offensive Valuable Player Award…member of baseball team for one year at catcher and first base.
