Biography

2014: Sat out season as a redshirt.

2013: Third in scoring with 24 points…made 18 of 22 conversions…connected on two of five field goals including a 34-yarder at Saint Joseph’s on October 5…registered 34 punts for a 36.2 yard averaged…posted two 50-plus yard punts including a best of 51 yards…placed seven inside the 20…averaged 42.5 yards per kickoff…played all 11 games.

2012: Saw action in one game…had three punts for 92 yards…longest was 42 yards against McKendree.

2011: Did not play.

High School: All-Area punter as a senior at Lincoln…also punts…two-year starter…coached by Jon Heiden…set the single game record for most punts with 10 (twice)…averaged 31.7 yards in 47 punts…posted 10 inside the 20…recorded a career best 50-yarder…made 12 of 14 extra points.

Personal: Born June 15, 1992 in Vincennes, Ind…son of Ed and Jill Ballinger…his father was a kicker at Manchester College…his mother played volleyball at Vincennes University...execerise science major.
