Deer Valley High School: Three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at running back…named team’s Most Valuable Player…chosen all-conference…received Doak Walker Award rushed for 1,197 yards on 196 carries and eight touchdowns as a senior in 2011…caught six passes for 52 yards…coached by Hoods. Career—Ran for 1,612 yards on 253 attempts and 12 touchdowns. Other sports—Two-year sprinter on the track team.
