Grayson County High School: Five-year letterwinner and four-year starter at forward…second team all-state selection by the Lexington Herald-Leader and third team all-state by the Louisville Courier Journal in 2010… averaged 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game as a senior… shot 52.4 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from the three-point arc and 75.3 percent from the free throw line…post career highs of 34 points and 15 rebounds…named 2010 Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches Third Region Player of the Year…led the Cougars to the 12th district championship and to the Third Region semifinals with a 23-9 record…received honorable mention All-State recognition by the Courier-Journal in 2009…lead the team in scoring with 19.5 points and rebounding with 10.1 per contests…member of 2009 Kentucky Junior All-State Team…helped GCHS to a 26-5 record and the district tile…two-time Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer All-Third Region honoree…captured all-district and all-region recognition three straight years…twice voted Cougars Most Valuable Player…posted a 93-29 record and four district titles in her career…finished second in career scoring with 2,040 points in starting 113 of 122 games played…played in the KABC East-West All-Star game…invited to the Kentucky All-Star tryouts…coached by Brad Johnson…member of Student Council.

Personal: Born June 2, 1992 in Elizabethtown, Ky…daughter of Terry and Shelia Tyra…had one brother, Tanner, and two sisters, Jenna and Jordan…grandfather, Charlie Tyra, was a first team All-American and all-time rebounder at the University of Louisville and played in the NBA for the New York Knicks and Chicago Packers…special education major.
