Biography

2011-12: Played in 22 games while missing nine due to injury…averaged 1.3 points and 7.8 minutes…shot 36 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from three-point territory and 50 percent from the free throw line…handed out 22 assists…grabbed 17 rebounds…had six steals…scored a season-high nine points including two key three-pointers along with two rebounds and one block against Indianapolis in the NCAA Midwest Region semifinals on March 11…handed out three assists twice…played 16 minutes versus Rockhurst on Jan. 12.

2010-11: Sat out season as a medical redshirt.

High School: Six-year letterwinner and five-year starter at guard…two-time third-team Louisville Courier-Journal All-State…averaged 18.5 points, 5.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 steals in 24 starts as a senior… shot 47.1 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from three-point territory and 83.2 percent from the free throw line…2010 Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches Region Player of the Year recipient…produced career highs of 40 points, 14 assists, nine rebounds, nine steals and seven three-pointers…led the Cougars to their fifth straight 12th district championship with a 17-9 record...two-time Messenger-Inquirer Third Region Player of the Year… four-time All-Third Region honoree, five-time 12th District Player of the Year selection…invited to try-out for the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star squad…received second team all-state recognition by the Lexington Herald-Leader in 2009…set the season assists record with 183 as a junior…guided GCHS to a 26-7 record enroute to the 12th District and Third Region titles and a trip to the Sweet Sixteen state tournament…voted to the “Sweet Sixteen” All-Tournament Team…member of the 2009 Kentucky Junior All-Stars…chosen honorable mention C-J All-State recognition as a freshman and sophomore…first player in school history to score over 2,000 career points as he finished with 2,284 for a 15.6 average…holds the all-time record for assists with 647 and steals with 310…connected on 199 three-pointers…started 146 contests…coached by Todd Johnston.
