OWENSBORO, Ky. – Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer (0-4-1, 0-0-1) opened Great Midwest Athletic Conference play at Panther Field Thursday evening with a 0-0 draw versus Lake Erie (1-1-3, 0-0-1).
Caleigh Meeks made five saves to preserve the shutout for the Panthers, while Storm goalkeeper Morgan VanMeter recorded four saves.
Kentucky Wesleyan created several chances throughout the match, including shots from
Haylie Panter,
Henna Gyan,
Skylar Gray,
Presley Payton and
Bailey Brown, but could not find the back of the net.
