INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four members of the Kentucky Wesleyan baseball team earned G-MAC All-Conference Second Team honors for the 2026 season.
Liam Hutson, Evan Oakley, Rhett Dysholm, and Jacob Riegel were all named to the second team for their play this campaign.
Hutson finished T-3rd in the G-MAC in home runs with 12 on top of 10 doubles, one triple, 44 RBIs, 34 walks (T-2nd in G-MAC), and a 1.011 OPS across 48 games.
The sophomore outfielder was named G-MAC Player of the Week twice this season and won the 2026 Kentucky Wesleyan Athlete of the Year award last month.
Oakley, the 2025 G-MAC Pitcher of the Year, led Wesleyan with a 4.17 ERA and 81 strikeouts (2nd in the G-MAC) across a conference high 77.2 innings pitched.
The senior starting pitcher set the career G-MAC strikeouts and games started records this season and is on track to set the career innings pitched record as well.
Dysholm hit a team-high .339 with 13 doubles, five home runs, and 37 RBIs as the Panthers' designated hitter for all 48 games.
The senior was third on the team in OPS (.894) and appeared in five games out of the bullpen as a reliever.
Riegel tallied a .961 OPS and knocked seven doubles, a team-high three triples, eight home runs, and 30 RBIs across 48 games.
The junior infielder was named G-MAC Player of the Week once after going 9-13 with two home runs in a four-game set last month.
The Panthers will be beginning their postseason run at Prasco Park later today against the Cedarville Yellow Jackets. First pitch is set for 3:30 PM and the game will be streamed live on FloCollege.
