OWENSBORO, Ky. – Jose Ferrandis has been named to the Great Midwest Men's Tennis All-Conference Second Team for his play during the 2026 season.
The Valencia, Spain, native went 10-7 in singles play this year while often battling the opposing team's top player on Court 1.
Ferrandis, often playing with Miguel Perlaza, notched several duos wins throughout the campaign as well.
The junior's highlights this season include singles wins on the #1 court over Ashland, Hillsdale, and Thomas More, among others.
Ferrandis is the first Kentucky Wesleyan tennis student-athlete to earn All-Conference honors in recent memory, achieving a significant step for the program.
