OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's tennis team fell in both their matches on Saturday inside Centre Court.
The Panthers were downed by crosstown rival Brescia, 6-1, to begin the afternoon. Anna Bongardt accounted for Wesleyan's point with her hard-fought 7-5, 7-6 triumph on Court 2.
Wesleyan had a little more success in the second match versus Earlham but were ultimately defeated 5-2.
Bongardt again prevailed on Court 2 in singles, 6-3, 7-5. Angela Ho earned Wesleyan's other point with her 6-2, 6-4 victory on Court 3.
The Kentucky Wesleyan women's tennis team next heads to St. Louis, Missouri, for a match versus Webster on Thursday, March 5th.
