INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Kentucky Wesleyan was named one of three Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) schools to earn Make-A-Wish® host honors after once again demonstrating its commitment to community impact through NCAA Division II's partnership with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation during the 2025-26 academic year.

NCAA Division II announced recently that over $270,000 was raised nationally for Make-A-Wish in 2025-26, including $221,420 from Division II member institutions and conferences, combined with $51,451 allocated from championship proceeds and enforcement fines.

As a result of their outstanding fundraising success, Kentucky Wesleyan and two other G-MAC institutions (University of Findlay and Walsh University) have earned the privilege of hosting wish reveals on their campuses.
These three G-MAC schools are among 16 Division II member institutions nationwide selected to host wish experiences for local children facing critical illnesses.

"Division II has had a special partnership with Make-A-Wish, and the G-MAC SAAC has consistently set goals as a membership to support the organization," Tom Daeger, Great Midwest Athletic Conference Commissioner. "Our student-athletes have identified creative ways on their campuses over the years to fundraise to meet these support goals for Make-A-Wish. The privilege of hosting a wish reveal is an honor our campus communities treasure, and we commend these three institutions for leading the way in supporting Make-A-Wish within our league."

Since establishing its national partnership with Make-A-Wish in 2003, NCAA Division II student-athletes and institutions have donated more than $7 million, helping grant over 700 life-changing wishes across the country.

Dates and details for the upcoming on-campus wish reveal ceremonies hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan will be announced in the coming months. For the full list of recipient institutions across all conferences, view the official NCAA release.
