Wesleyan Struggles Against the Chargers

Hillsdale, Mich. – The Kentucky Wesleyan football team fell against the Chargers of Hillsdale Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers (0-4, 0-2 G-MAC) fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter and couldn't reel the game in.

Camron Brogan had yet another big day for Wesleyan, totaling four receptions for 95 yards as the bright spot for the offense.

Defensively, three Panthers reached double-digit tackles: Jalon Baker (eight solo, six assisted), Josh Noble (two solo, nine assisted), and Nolan Forsha (five solo, five assisted).

Wesleyan now looks toward their toughest stretch of the season. The Panthers are set to play three consecutive games versus teams either ranked or receiving voted in the latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, beginning with Ashland on Saturday, October 4. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM at Steele Stadium and live on FloCollege.
