"I'm extremely excited for our home slate, as it gives our fans the chance to see some high-level Division II football," head coach
Tyrone Young said. "Opening up our home schedule with the University of West Florida, which will be a preseason top 10 team, is a very exciting opportunity. Playing at Steele Stadium is a special environment because of what our fans make it, so I hope that they see these season tickets come out and want to take them all up. It's going to be a special year for us, and we could not be more excited about it. Roll Panthers!"
Men's & Women's Soccer
The Kentucky Wesleyan men's and women's soccer teams are excited for another season at Panther Field. Combined, the two teams will have 20+ home matches for the 2025 campaign.
The men will open up the home slate against Missouri – St. Louis on September 4th at 5:00 PM. The women follow with a matchup versus West Alabama at 7:30 PM that same night.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Single GA - $5
- Double GA - $8
"We are excited to begin the 2025 season, especially with our home games," said women's soccer head coach Ty Stauffer. "We love playing not only in front of our students, but also in front of the support from the Owensboro soccer community! It definitely helps us raise our intensity at Panther Field."
Volleyball
In a change from last year, volleyball will not be a ticketed sport for the 2025 season. Head coach Alejandra Jimenez and the Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball team are looking forward to another season inside Jones Gym!
"Having the Wesleyan faithful supporting us in Jones Gym means so much to our team," Jimenez said. "The energy and encouragement our families, friends, and fans bring to home games often give our athletes the extra push the need to get through the challenges of a long season."
Football and soccer tickets will be available to purchase here on the Kentucky Wesleyan Athletics website early next week. Of course, these will also be sold at the gates, and per department policy, all children under 12 are admitted for free, as are KWC students, staff, and faculty with a valid ID.
