Owensboro, Ky. – The awards just keep stacking up for Panthers ace Evan Oakley.
The righty was named to both the NCBWA Midwest Region First Team and the D2CCA All-Midwest Region First Team, solidifying himself as one of the best pitchers in the region.
This comes on the heels of Oakley being named the G-MAC Pitcher of the Year after he led the conference in ERA, innings pitched, and wins. To read more on that award, click here.
"Evan is the ultimate competitor and teammate!" Kentucky Wesleyan head baseball coach Todd Lillpop said. "He has worked his tail off to get to where he is today. He deserves all the accolades he is receiving and is going to have another great year next season as well!"
Oakley will now be placed on the national ballot for D2CAA All-American consideration, with voting beginning this week and All-American teams set to be released on May 28.
