Owensboro, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan men's and women's tennis teams fell to in-state rival Thomas More on Saturday morning at Centre Court.

The men's tennis team was able to earn a point in the match but ultimately fell 6-1.

Men's Singles Matches

• Court 1: Delente def. Taylor, 6-2, 6-2.

• Court 4: Eddingfield def. M. Stoever, 6-2, 6-2. 
• Court 5: Clayon Arnett def. Stovall, 6-0, 6-4.

The women's tennis team was downed 7-0 by the Saints.

• Court 1: Alexis Covington/Dakota Schroeder def. Ella Brown/Angela Ho, 6-1. 
• Court 2: Presley Grant/Noelia Martinez Garcia def. Baylie McCreary/Allessa Hall, 6-1. 
• Court 3: Hallie Lathram/Nicki Bauer won by walkover. 

Women's Singles Matches

• Court 1: Covington def. Brown, 6-0, 6-0. 
• Court 2: Schroder def. Ho, 6-0, 6-0.  
• Court 3: Garcia def. Hall, 6-1, 6-0. 
• Court 4: Grant def. McCreary, 6-1, 6-4. 
• Court 5: Lathram won by walkover. 
• Court 6: Bauer won by walkover.  

Both teams return to the court on Thursday, April 10 for a battle vs. Southern Indiana at Centre Court.
