WARRENSBURG, MO - The Kentucky Wesleyan College Men's Wrestling team participated in the NCAA DII Super Regional IV on Saturday. The event marks the pinnacle event on the Panthers season.
One of the standout performances came from
Matthew Velasco, who excelled by securing a technical fall victory over Trent Moses from Newman in the consolation second round. Velasco ended his tournament run in the next round with a narrow 1-0 decision to Nathan Wishne from Drury.Â
Despite the tough competition, the KWC Panthers displayed remarkable resilience and skill throughout the season. As the year wraps up, the experiences and challenges faced at the NCAA Super Regional IV will undoubtedly shape the future training and strategy for KWC wrestling team.Â
