Painesville, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan men's basketball team fell by the score of 85-67 to Lake Erie on Thursday night, ending the Panthers' ten-game winning streak.

Wesleyan is now 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the G-MAC, while the Storm improved to 10-4 overall and 3-3 in the G-MAC.

The Storm began the game on a 13-4 run and never looked back, leading by as much as 26 in the first half as the home team took a 47-21 lead into the locker room.

Coming out, the Panthers cut the deficit to 17 quickly with an 11-2 run, but Wesleyan couldn't claw any closer until two Kennedy Miles free throws put them down 15 with just over five minutes to go. Lake Erie wouldn't budge though, keeping the Panthers at arm's length the rest of the way and finalizing the big G-MAC victory.

Edward Jones Jr. continued his recent stellar play with 19 points, four rebounds, and an assist while shooting 8-11 from the field. Terrence Ringo Jr. had his best game of the year, totaling 15 points, a team-high eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Logan McIntire joined those two in double figures with 10 points, a rebound, and a steal.

Wesleyan is right back to it this Saturday, January 11 as the Panthers take on Walsh, who they defeated 66-61 on January 4. The men are set to tip off at 2:00 PM, with the women playing prior at 12:00 PM.
