NASHVILLE, TN - The Trevecca Nazarene Trojans took two from Wesleyan on Saturday, taking them down by scores of 8-2 and 8-0.
TNU improves to 34-10 (15-3 G-MAC), while Wesleyan falls to 15-23 (6-12 G-MAC).Â
The Panthers scored their lone runs thanks to a long ball off the bat of
Megan Matheis in the third inning of the opening game. This marks the 17th home run of her career, good enough for 3rd all time in Kentucky Wesleyan history.Â
Chloe Williams (6-7) took the opening game loss, while
Kristyn Murphy (4-7) fell in the second.Â
The Panthers will be at home on Monday as they host crosstown rival Brescia in some non-conference action. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.Â
