HILLSDALE, MI - Hillsdale stayed undefeated in G-MAC play on Friday, taking down Wesleyan 11-3 and 10-2.
Hillsdale now sits at 20-8 (6-0 G-MAC), while Wesleyan falls to 14-16 (5-5 G-MAC).
Big innings were the story of Friday's games, as over the course of both contests, Hillsdale notched four innings of 4+ runs. Wesleyan kept things close early in each game, cutting it to 4-3 in the third inning of the opener, and leading 2-0 in the second game.
Over the course of the two games,
Megan Matheis went 3-for-5 with two RBI's and two runs scored. This included a solo home run in the second game, her team leading seventh of the year.
Kristyn Murphy notched two RBI's, while
Augusta Garr scored two runs.
Allie Dunn (2-4) took the game one loss, while
Chloe Williams (6-4) struck out five in the second game.
The Panthers will look to get their G-MAC record back to over .500 tomorrow when they travel to Midland, Michigan, to take on the Northwood Timberwolves. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT.
