HUNTSVILLE, AL - Facing the No. 12 ranked Alabama Huntsville Chargers on their own field, the Kentucky Wesleyan Softball team fell 10-0 on Saturday morning.
Due to weather, this was the only game Wesleyan played today, as their other three weekend contests had to be canceled due to weather.
The Panthers did manage to notch four hits in the game, with
Kristyn Murphy going 2-for-2 at the plate.
Megan Matheis and
Cam Mann each added a hit of their own.
Kentucky Wesleyan will be back in action next week when they travel to Nashville to take part in the Music City Invitational. There they are scheduled to play two games on Friday and two on Sunday, facing Wisconsin-Parkside, Ferris State, Purdue-Northwest, and McKendree University.
