Ashland, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer team was defeated 8-0 by Ashland on Thursday night.
Wesleyan falls to 4-10-0 overall and 3-7-0 in the G-MAC, while Ashland improves to 11-1-1 overall and 9-0-1 in the G-MAC.
The Panthers now trail the all-time series 5-0 and have scored just one goal in those five matches.
The Eagles scored four goals in the first 20 minutes and never looked back, totaling six in the first half and adding two in the second half.
Wesleyan must put this one behind them before heading to Columbus for a matchup with Ohio Dominican on Saturday, October 26. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM.
