Hammond, Ind. – The Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball team was defeated by the score of 26-24, 15-25, 14-25, 18-25 by Southwest Baptist on Friday afternoon in the second of three games at The Crossover.
The Panthers fall to 0-17 overall and 0-7 in the G-MAC, while Southwest Baptist improves to 10-12 overall and 0-5 in the GLVC.
Wesleyan, just like in their first match this morning, won the first set but failed to earn another victory.
Kamryn Parlin had a team-high 10 kills in the match. Julia Kupper, coming off recording her first triple-double in the Panthers' earlier match today, did it all once again with eight kills, 13 assists, 14 digs, and two blocks.
Tessa-Jo Allen led the team with 15 digs, while Embry Burgess had 12 digs and two aces in the Wesleyan effort. Gracie Newton again had a team-high three blocks at the net.
