Cedarville, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's volleyball team was defeated by the score of 19-25, 13-25, 25-21, 16-25 against Cedarville on Saturday afternoon.
Wesleyan falls to 0-15 overall and 0-7 in the G-MAC this season, while Cedarville improves to 7-6 overall and 4-3 in the G-MAC.
The Panthers also move to 7-9 all-time against Cedarville, having lost the last eight contests.
Tessa-Jo Allen led the offensive effort for Wesleyan, recording a season-high 13 kills. Kamryn Parlin was close behind her with ten kills and Hadley Wolfe had eight kills.
Julia Kupper tallied an impressive 18 assists and Ana De Sevilla-Acosta had a season-high of her own with 16 assists.
Defensively, Havanah John and Wolfe each had three blocks while Kupper added two. Embry Burgess had a team-high eight digs, and Allen and Sevilla-Acosta each capped off all-around efforts with seven digs apiece.
The Panthers next travel to The Crossover Tournament in Hammond, Indiana, joining various schools from the G-MAC, GLIAC, and GLVC for the two-day event from October 18-19.
