LEBANON, IL - Facing any team after a week off from competition isn't easy, but it doesn't help when they are a top-20 team in the country. The #16 ranked McKendree Bearcats took down the visiting Panthers on Tuesday night by a final score of 5-0.
After they scored three goals in the opening half, the Bearcats scored two right off the bat in the second half to put the game away.
Natalie HInchcliffe registered KWC's only shot of the day.
Reegan Garrity made five saves in the game while
Elizabeth Burns tallied two.
Kentucky Wesleyan opens up conference play this weekend when they host Tiffin on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT.
