OWENSBORO, KY - Competing on their own track for the G-MAC Championships, the Kentucky Wesleyan men's track & field team finished their season last weekend with some solid performances, including a big 4th place finish in the 200 from
Jayden Freeman. Freeman was just 0.01 seconds off the school record with a time of 21.55 in the event.
The Panther also scored points in the 4x100, as the team consisting of
Keith Williams,
Jayden Freeman,
Elijah Moss, and
Gordon Anaple ran a season best time of 43.27 to take 7th. Freeman also nearly qualified for the finals of the 100, coming in 9th with a time of 10.82.
Matt Wilson became the second best shot putter in school history with a mark of 14.69 (48-2.50) to take 10th place.
