OWENSBORO, KY - The Kentucky Wesleyan Volleyball team celebrated their three seniors on Saturday afternoon, honoring
Karrah Cron,
Hallie McGuire, and
Carlee Widmer for their time with the program. The game itself was close throughout, but the Panthers ended up falling 25-19, 25-22, 25-20 in three sets.
Northwood moves to 14-14 (8-7 G-MAC) while the Panthers drop to 6-20 (2-10 G-MAC).Â
Wesleyan competed well in the game, even holding a late 20-19 lead in the second set, but the experience of the Timberwolves paid off as they were able to dismiss the Panthers in three.Â
Hallie McGuire and
Olivia Patton led the Panthers with seven kills each, while
Karrah Cron dished out 16 assists.
Danielle Nelson notched 18 digs while
Ava Rebarchik had five blocks.
Diana Wesolosky and
Carlee Widmer recorded the Panther's lone aces of the game.Â
Wesleyan closes out their season on the road next week when they travel to Cedarville and Columbus next weekend to take on Cedarville and Ohio Dominican. Friday's match vs. Cedarville is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. CT.
