OWENSBORO, KY - Kentucky Wesleyan couldn't quite get the season sweep over Trevecca Nazarene, falling 2-1 to their G-MAC counterparts on Tuesday night.
It was a bittersweet occasion for the Panthers, as they honored their nine graduation seniors. Prior to the game, Wesleyan honored

Carson Ellis,
Julian Gonzalez,
Jake Peveler,
Aaron Wayne,
Brendan Wright, and
Preston Wright.
Calum Newson scored the Panthers lone goal of the evening, converting on a penalty kick that was won by
Maxten Miller. Newson had one of the best season's in Panthers history, becoming the first player since 1998 to tally 35 points in a season. He finished his second season in a Panther's uniform with 14 goals and seven assists.
Wesleyan finishes this season with a record of 8-7-3 (5-6-3 G-MAC), their first winning season since 1991.
