NORTHWOOD, MI - The Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer team dropped a G-MAC contest 6-1 to Northwood on Saturday.
Northwood moves to 10-3-4 (9-1-3 G-MAC) while Wesleyan falls to 3-13 (2-11 G-MAC).
The Timberwolves got out strong, scoring three times in the opening 20 minutes to go up 3-0 at the half. Wesleyan got a goal back in the second half off the foot of
Bree Owen, but it wasn't enough as Northwood scored three more goals that half to take the game 6-1.
Northwood was dominant, outshooting the Panthers 30-2 in the contest.
Bree Owen's goal was her team leading sixth of the year.
Elizabeth Burns made 11 saves in the game.
The Panthers will host Trevecca Nazarene on Tuesday for senior night. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. CT.
