OWENSBORO, KY - After a scoreless opening half, the Kentucky Wesleyan Men's Soccer team gave up four goals in the second half and fell to Findlay 4-0 in conference action.
With the win the Oilers move to 3-4-1 (2-2-1 G-MAC) on the year while the Panthers fall to 1-5 (1-4 G-MAC).
It was a defensive battle in the opening half of play with neither team allowing more than four total shots. The lone save of the opening half came from the Panther's
Ben Burkeen on a shot in the 14th minute of play.
The Oilers scored two goals in the first five minutes of the second half and out shot the Panthers 14-1 in the frame and would take the game 4-0.
Findlay out shot Wesleyan 18-3 in the game, including 7-0 in shots-on-goal. UF led 4-3 on corner kicks and KWC committed 13 fouls to Findlay's seven.
The Panthers head to Tiffin, OH on Saturday to take on the Dragons at 12 p.m. ET.Â
