OWENSBORO, KY - Following a 12 year stint at Lincoln Memorial University, Jeremy Donahue has been hired as the Assistant Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at Kentucky Wesleyan.

"I want to thank Coach Stephens for this great opportunity to join the Kentucky Wesleyan community," said Donahue. "I am excited about the vision he has for the XC/Track and Field program and the student-athletes that we work with. I look forward to assisting in the growth of the Kentucky Wesleyan Track and Field tradition and providing a positive student-athlete experience for all our young men and women apart of the program."

During his time at LMU, Donahue coached a total of 30 All-Conference runners, nine All-Region runners, 11 USTFCCCA XC All-Academic Teams, two conference champions, and a 2017 Cross Country Academic Elite 20 athlete. 

Prior to his time coaching the Railsplitters, Donahue was a standout runner for LMU. He was an All-Gulf South Conference runner in 2005, and received All-South Atlantic honors in 2006 and 2007.

Donahue owns a USTFCCA Event Specialist certification in distance, as well as his USTFCCA Strength and Conditioning Coach certification. 

Head Coach Sol Stephens stated "We're so happy to have Coach Donahue joining us. He's hit the ground running upon his arrival. He has over a decade of experience within the cross country and distance side of the sport in Division II, which was a key component to the final decision on his hiring. His knowledge and demeanor has been and will be an asset towards the future of KWC running."

Donahue is a 2000 graduate of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School and holds a Masters of Education degree from Lincoln Memorial.
