PAINESVILLE, OH - Playing in their first road game in nearly three weeks, Kentucky Wesleyan fell to the Lake Erie Storm in three sets (25-19, 25-15, 25-22).
With the win Lake Erie moves to 3-14 (1-6 G-MAC) while the Panthers drop to 2-14 (0-8 G-MAC).
After falling in the opening two sets, the Panthers were ahead in set three and looking to turn things around. A kill by
Kenlee Perryman and an ace by
Maggie Vincent put the Panthers up 20-17, but the Storm won eight of the final 10 points of the game to put the Panthers away.
Ava Rebarchik led the team in kills (8) followed by
Nicole Martin (6) and
Hannah Thibideau (4).
Karrah Cron led the team in both assists (14) and digs (13) while
Maggie Vincent followed closely behind in both categories (5 assists, 9 digs).
Wesleyan heads to Pepper Pike, OH tomorrow to take on Ursuline at 12 p.m. CT.Â
