OWENSBORO, KY - Although they didn't get the victory, it was a great afternoon for the Panthers as they honored
Kenlee Perryman,
Nicole Martin, and
Maggie Vincent, all of whom were playing in their last home game in a Panther uniform.
Honorees
- Kenlee Perryman has played in 27 career matches for the Panthers, including 63 total sets. She has career statistics of 63 kills, 13 digs, and 28 total blocks.
- Nicole Martin has played in 54 career matches for the Panthers, with 178 sets to her name. She has 379 career kills, including a team leading 210 this season. She also has 83 total blocks and 96 digs.
- Maggie Vincent has played in 60 career matches for the Panthers, including 211 career sets. She has 597 career digs and 128 assists to her name. Her 30 digs earlier this season against Walsh put her in a tie for fifth all time in KWC history.
The game saw the Panthers keep it close for two sets, but eventually fall to Cedarville 3-0 (28-26, 25-17, 25-22).
With the win the Yellowjackets move to 9-11 (6-7 G-MAC) while the Panthers fall to 2-22 (0-13 G-MAC).
Braxton Shelton led the Panthers with 10 kills, followed by
Nicole Martin (7) and
Kenlee Perryman (5). Martin added four blocks to her statline, while
Karrah Cron notched 16 assists and
Maggie Vincent tallied 9 digs.
The Panther will be back in action next Saturday when they head to Nashville to take on Trevecca Nazarene at 1 p.m. CT.
