NASHVILLE, TN - Originally scheduled for last Saturday, the Panthers traveled down to Nashville, Tn. Wednesday night for a matchup with the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans. It wasn't the Panthers night as the Trojans took down KWC 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-7).
With the win TNU moves to 18-8 (9-5 G-MAC) while KWC falls to 2-23 (0-14 G-MAC).
Ava Rebarchik led the Panthers with six kills, followed by
Diana Wesolosky (4) and
Lilly Trump (3).
Carlee Widmer led the team with nine assists and six digs.
Kentucky Wesleyan will close their season on the road this weekend as they head to Ashland and Tiffin to take on the Eagles and Dragons. Friday's game in Ashland is set to take place at 6 p.m. CT.
