OWENSBORO, KY - The Panthers started off hot on Saturday against Walsh, coming back to win the first set 27-25 before running out to gas towards the end and dropping the next three sets 25-19, 25-17, 25-14 to fall 3-1 to the Cavaliers.
With the win the Cavaliers move to 13-9 (7-4 G-MAC) while the Panthers fall to 2-20 (0-11 G-MAC).
Diana Wesolosky led the way with a career high 17 kills in the match, followed by
Nicole Martin (12) and
Lilly Trump (12).
Karrah Cron notched her third highest assist output of the year, handing out 38 helpers.
Maggie Vincent jumped into the KWC record books with a career high 30 digs, good for fifth all time in KWC history.
The Panthers stay at home next weekend when they host Ohio Dominican at 7 p.m. on Friday, and Cedarville at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
