OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss on Thursday night to Ohio Dominican University in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action. With the loss, Kentucky Wesleyan moves to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play while Ohio Dominican improves to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the G-MAC.
A pair of quick goals less than three minutes apart gave Ohio Dominican a 2-0 lead in the sixth minute. Ohio Dominican controlled the first half, outshooting Wesleyan 14 to 7.
Their third goal came less than 90 seconds into the second half, giving them a 3-0 lead. Wesleyan responded in the 54th minute with
Sarah Haleman finding the back of the net on an assist from
Madisyn Hunt. Haleman picked up her first goal of the season while Hunt recorded her third assist.

Ohio Dominican netted their fourth and final goal in the 58th minute. They went on to outshoot Wesleyan 26-13 in the contest. Haleman led the Panthers with four shots.
Taylor Rentchler played the full 90 minutes in net, making ten saves on the night.
Wesleyan remains home this weekend, hosting Cedarville in G-MAC action. Kick off is set for 2:30 pm CT at Panther Field.
