OWENSBORO, KY. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's basketball season schedule has been released and will feature several Great Lakes Valley Conference foes in non-conference action. Wesleyan will also be tested in protecting their 17-game winning streak at the Sportscenter in 2019-20.
 
The prep work for the season will begin with two exhibition contests. The Panthers will play Western Kentucky on October 31^st before traveling to Austin Peay on November 5^th.
 
The season will open in Nashville, Tennessee for the second consecutive season. The Panthers will take on Rockhurst and Missouri S&T in the Pops Duncan Classic on November 8^th and 9^th. Wesleyan will then return to the friendly confines of the historic Sportscenter for the home opener on November 13^th against Oakland City. The Panthers will also have matchups at Illinois Springfield and against Missouri-St. Louis in the non-conference portion of the schedule.
 
The Great Midwest portion of the schedule is slated for December 5^th. The opening weekend continues December 7^th against Tiffin. Both G-MAC games comes in the midst of a nine-game homestand that will take the Panthers into the New Year.
 
In January of 2020 Wesleyan will travel to North Canton, Ohio for two games against Walsh and Malone. Walsh upset the Panthers in the Great Midwest Tournament Championship last season even though Walsh, Wesleyan, and Cedarville ended the regular season in three-way tie. The Cavaliers earned the right to host the conference Championship Tournament based on G-MAC tiebreakers even though the Panthers played a far tougher schedule.  
 
Both Walsh and Wesleyan represent the Great Midwest in the NCAA Tournament last season. The Panthers will only get one crack at the Cavs this season on January 2^nd. Findlay and Hillsdale will make a return trip to the Sportscenter on February 6^th and 8^th.
 
The final scheduled home game of the season will take place on February 25^th against Salem. The regular season finale will be on February 29^th at Tiffin. Altogether, the Panthers will play 16 home games against 12 road contests.
 
The Panthers finished 24-8 in 2018-19 with a 16-0 mark at the Sportscenter. Wesleyan went 18-4 in Great Midwest action. The Panthers were upended by No.1 Drury in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in March.
 
Season ticket renewal information will go out the first week of September.
