Registration is now open for the second annual Wesleyan Softball Winter Hitting Camp. The five-week hitting camp is set to begin on January 5th and run for five Sundays throughout the month (Jan. 5, Jan. 12, Jan. 19, Jan. 26 and Feb. 2). Attendees can select from one of three sessions at 4:00 pm, 5:15 pm and 6:30 pm. Each session will be capped at 16 participants. Attendees must be in grades fourth through 12th.
Instruction will be provided by coaches and members of the Kentucky Wesleyan softball team, the 2017 Great Midwest Athletic Conference champions. Emphasis will include fundamentals, mechanics and drills that the Panthers use on a daily basis. Campers will be put in class appropriate groups with each session being capped at 16 players. All camp activities will be held at the Panther Hitting Facility located on the campus of Kentucky Wesleyan College along Avenue of Champions across from the Woodward Health and Recreation Center.
Registration will be available on a first come, first serve basis. The cost of the camp is $100 with payment due upon arrival on January 5th. Checks can be made out to Kentucky Wesleyan Softball.
