Four School Records Fall at Engineer Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College indoor track and field team continued to break school records on Friday night at the Engineer Invite hosted by Rose Hulman.  Aneya Hardin, Cheyenne Heuring and Chase Bland all walked away with the title of school record holders.

Hardin broke her own school record that was set last week, posting a time of 7.86 seconds in the 60-meter dash, taking first and trimming .05 seconds off last week's mark.  In the 200-meter dash, Hardin placed 2nd with a time of 26.00 seconds flat to break that school record as well.

In the pole vault, Heuring reached 2.67-meters for a school record and a sixth place finish.

On the men's side, Chase Bland broke the program record in the mile run, finishing fifth with a time of 4:28.21.

Two additional school records were tied on Friday night.  Sydney Goff reached 1.48-meters in the high jump, placing second.  In the pole vault, Adam Bouchard tied his own school record of 3.82-meters to place seventh.

The Panthers will take the week off before heading to the DePauw Invitational in Greencastle, Ind. on Saturday, February 9.
