HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Kentucky Wesleyan College volleyball team lost in straight sets to Hillsdale College on Friday night. Sierra Morrow finished with eight kills and 1.5 blocks on the night.
The Chargers (13-3, 10-0 G-MAC) held a .312 attacking percentage in the opening game to pick-up a 25-13 win. In the second game, Hillsdale raced out to a 17-8 lead and traded points the rest of the way to win the set 25-19.
The Panthers (11-9, 6-6 G-MAC) saved their best of the night for the final set, hitting .200 in the frame. Nilah Roy's kill tied the third at 18-18, but the Wesleyan momentum slowed thereafter as the Chargers edged ahead. Trailing 24-20, Morrow and Roy produced back-to-back kills to bring the Panthers within two. The Chargers then ended the match with the final point.
The Panthers will travel to Findlay, Ohio on Saturday for a match against the Oilers. The match is scheduled to start at 11 AM CT.
