Men's Soccer Falls at Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's soccer dropped a 4-0 decision to Great Midwest Athletic Conference newcomer University of Findlay on Saturday afternoon.  The Panthers fall to 1-12-1 overall and 1-11-1 in G-MAC play with the Oilers improve to 12-4 overall and 11-2 in conference play.

Findlay controlled the first half, tallying 21 shots while holding the Panthers shotless.  The Oilers tabbed goals in the fourth, 22nd and 26th minute to take a 3-0 lead to the break.

Kentucky Wesleyan found its stride in the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net.  The Oilers scored its final goal of the game in the 83rd minute and had a chance to add another in the final minute with a penalty kick but Jacob Stauffer came up big with a save.

Elias Humel led the Panthers with two shots.  Grant Allen made 11 saves and allowed three goals in the first 45 minutes of play.  Jacob Stauffer allowed one goal and made six saves in the final 45 minutes.

The Panthers will head to Nashville, Tenn. on Tuesday in the season finale against Trevecca Nazarene University with a start time of 7 pm CT.
