Box Score
110 minutes wasn't enough time for either Kentucky Wesleyan or Ursuline to break even, as Thursday's conference evening matchup at Steele Stadium ended in a draw at 0-0. Kentucky Wesleyan is now 1-2-1 (1-0-1 G-MAC) on the year.
In the first half, both teams played physical, and scoring opportunities were limited. The Panthers' best chance to score came late in the first half, as Kamryn Pulliam ripped a shot from outside the box that bounced off the cross bar and just missed.
Ursuline took several chances on-goal especially in the second half, but KWC's defense was able to hold the Arrows scoreless. Ursuline finished with 16 shots, seven of which were placed on-goal in the contest. Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Rentchler, who was named G-MAC Defensive Player Of The Week on Monday, continued off her big game last week with another big night with seven saves.
Pulliam led Kentucky Wesleyan with three shots in the match. Breigh Haase, Penni Pluimer, and Skylar Walden each had one shot in the match as well.
Kentucky Wesleyan will play host to new conference foe Malone on Saturday afternoon. The match is tabbed for a 2:30 p.m. start.
