Kentucky Wesleyan 0-5 (0-2 G-MAC) fell in their third consecutive road contest to Union College in Jackson, Tenn. on Tuesday evening in non-conference play. The Panthers will return home on Saturday for a home contest against Malone. Kickoff is set for noon CT.
Union scored two goals in the first half, with one goal in the first two minutes of the match. The goal came off an open shot in the left corner for the early lead. The second goal for Union came roughly ten minutes later after a blocked shot led to a goal in the lower left corner.
In the second half, Union scored three goals. The Bulldogs scored their third goal of the contest thirty-five seconds into the half, off of a shot inside the box. They added another goal off of a header in the fifty-second minute to take a 4-0 lead. The Bulldogs continued to score, after taking a 5-0 lead with a goal in the 71st minute of play.
The Panthers were out-shot 25-6 in the contest. Goalkeeper Grant Allen tallied nine saves. Arthur Rogers led KWC with two shots in the match.
