Kentucky Wesleyan was unable to score a goal in their 4-0 defeat at Ursuline in Pepper Pike, Ohio on Saturday afternoon in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play. The Panthers gave up three goals in first half. With the loss, KWC is now 3-7-2 on the year.
Ursuline scored their first goal of the match early on in the 11th minute of action. The Arrows would strike again in the 31st minute to take a 2-0 advantage. Ursuline would add one more score right before halftime in the 42nd mintue to hold a 3-0 lead going in the half.
Early into the second half, Ursuline would take a 4-0 lead. The Arrows tallied their fourth score of the day in the 50th minute.
Kentucky Wesleyan finished with eight shots in total, five of which landed on-goal.
Breigh Haase led the Panthers with a team-high three shots on-goal.
Skylar Walden and
Kamryn Pulliam both collected one shot on target as well.
Taylor Rentchler recorded five saves behind the net for the Panthers.
Kentucky Wesleyan will next play at Alderson Broaddus on Thursday evening. The Panthers previously lost to AB earlier in the year at home in double overtime.
