Women's soccer scores three second half goals in shutout win at Berea

Box Score Kentucky Wesleyan collected a 3-0 road victory at Berea College on Monday evening in non-conference play. The Panthers recorded all three goals in the second half. With the victory, the Panthers improve to 3-5-2 on the season.

Kelsey Humphries led the Panthers with two goals scored in the contest. She scored the first goal in the 54th minute, and the second at the 58:00 minute mak of the match. Humphries also leads the Panthers' offense this season with four goals scored. Kamryn Pulliam registered her first goal of her career as well in the match, with the third goal in the 84th minute of play. Anna Duff provided two assists on the goals scored by Humpries, a season-high.

Taylor Rentchler registered two saves in the win. The Panthers tallied 19 shots in the match, with eight shots on-goal. Humphries finished with a team-high three shots on-goal, while Kaley Burnette and Kamryn Pulliam each posted two shots on-goal.

KWC's defense held Berea to only six total shots, and just two of those shots were on-goal.

Kentucky Wesleyan will return to action on Thursday afternoon at Malone in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play. The match is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. CT.
