Box Score Katlyn Duke produced a hat trick by scoring three goals and
Breigh Haase added two in Kentucky Wesleyan's 6-1 win over visiting Ohio Valley in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play at Panther Field on Saturday afternoon.
Haase scored both her goals at the seven and 31-minute mark before the Fighting Scots (0-5, 0-4 G-MAC) scored on a penalty kick late in the half to settle on a Panther 2-1 advantage.
KWC poured on the offense coming out of the locker room in the second frame.
Duke scored his first on a pass from
Penni Pluimer in the 52 minute.
Annie Elder followed seven minutes later with an unassisted goal. Duke posted her second at the 67th minute unassisted. She recorded her final goal one minute later on a penalty kick.
The Panther's
Kathryn Dishion played 90 minutes in the box and had one save. KWC outshot OVU 18 to six.
Kentucky Wesleyan (3-1, 3-1 G-MAC) plays at Ursuline on Thursday.
