The Salem International Tigers defeated the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers 2-1 on Thursday night at Steele Stadium.

The Tigers scored their only goals of the match in the first half.

The Panthers had opportunities late in the match to even the score, but came up a little short. 

Blake Cobb scored the Panthers lone goal with a header off of a corner kick with seven minutes left in the second half.

With the loss, the Panthers fall to 0-4-1 (0-2-1) on the year.

Kentucky Wesleyan's next match is Saturday at Panther field against Ohio Valley at noon CT.
