The Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer team will travel to West Virginia to take on Ohio Valley and Salem International this week for two important Great Midwest Athletic Conference matches.
The Panthers played only one match last week, where they lost at home to Trevecca.
On Thursday, the Panthers will play Ohio Valley. The Fighting Scots are 5-3-1 (3-2-1 G-MAC) overall. They defeated Kentucky Wesleyan in the first meeting 3-1. The match time is set for 2:30 p.m. CT.
The Panthers will then go up against Salem International on Saturday.
The Tigers come into the match with a record of 5-4-1 (3-3 G-MAC). Salem won a close hard-fought match 2-1 in Owensboro when they first met earlier in the season. The match will begin at 2 p.m. CT.
Coach
John Fusco on the importance of these away matches: "We're going to go back and watch the film on both games. These are two good G-MAC results for us that we definitely need to get on the road. We're going to go all out and go for it, and hopefully we come back with two conference wins."
