Box Score Kentucky Wesleyan fell to Alderson Broaddus 3-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action at Steele Stadium on Thursday night.
The Battlers came out firing in both halves, and finished the match with 22 shots attempted. Fernando Franco scored the first goal of the match in the seven minute, and Kevin Burcado followed with another in the 18th
 minute. Alderson Broaddus lead the match 2-0 at halftime.
In the second half, the Panthers attempted a comeback of their own.
Blake Cobb scored in the 61st minute off of an assist from
Travis Foreman to cut into the Battlers lead. Cobb led the Panthers with three shots on the night. In the 80th minute, ABU's Zach Partyka scored on an unassisted goal to put the Battlers up 3-1.
Kentucky Wesleyan falls to 2-11-1 (1-8-1 G-MAC). The next match will take place on Saturday at noon CT against Davis & Elkins in the home finale at Panther Field.
