KWC loses heartbreaker at Trevecca

After taking a 2-0 early in the game, Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer looked to be in control.

Trevecca would score the next three goals, however, and a Luke Robertson goal in the 83rd minute tied the game at three. 

The teams would head to overtime, from there and the game was tied until the final minute, when Trevecca scored and defeated KWC 4-3 in double overtime.

Travis Foreman scored the first two goals for the Panthers, the first one unassisted in the 16th minute and the second one on a cross from Kurtis Roberts in the 22nd minute. 

Foreman and Gary McMeekin assisted Robertson on his goal in the second half.

Grant Allen made eight saves in the loss for KWC.

The Panthers are back on the field Thurs., Oct. 2, at home against Davis & Elkins.
