A 4-0 loss to Campbellsville moved Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer to 6-4 on the season.
This weekend, KWC travels to West Virginia to face Salem International and Ohio Valley in separate G-MAC contests.Â
"Campbellsville is a really good side," said head coach
Jamie Duvall. "They caught us sleeping and not ready to play. Hopefully it's a wakeup call for us in our conference games this weekend."
The Panthers are 3-2 in the G-MAC this season.Â
Annie Elder is the leading scorer with four goals and
Paige Kramer has four assists.Â
Kathryn Dishion has played the majority of the minutes in goal, making 33 saves.
Salem International is 0-6 on the season and 0-4 in G-MAC play.
Ohio Valley is 1-8-1 overall and 1-4 in the G-MAC. Ashley Wilcox has a team-high three goals and Kourtney Breighner has played the majority of the minutes in goal, making 116 saves.
When asked how his team was preparing for this weekend, Duvall replied: "These games are important games for us. We expect some sloppy conditions because of the weather. These are important conference games to go on the road and try to get some points."
