An important win over Trevecca on Saturday helped Kentucky Wesleyan men's soccer get a step closer to hosting a first round G-MAC tournament match.

Today, KWC steps out of conference play to go to Oakland City and play this afternoon.

The Panthers enter today 6-6-2 on the season.  Christakis Agisilaou has 10 goals to lead the team and is six shy of tying the career scoring record.  Kurtis Roberts, in addition to his pair of goals this season, has seven assists to lead the team.

Grant Allen, the G-MAC men's soccer athlete of the week, has played the majority of minutes in goal, has made a G-MAC leading 75 saves this season and has a GAA of 1.34 with two shutouts.

Oakland City enters the match at 7-4.  Conor Felstead has eight goals for a team-best and Conor McGoldrick has played the majority of the minutes in goal, making 38 saves.

KWC plays their final G-MAC match of the season on Saturday against Cedarville at noon.
